EGYPT. Uncertain. Circa 1st-3rd centuries. Tessera (Lead, 21 mm, 3.39 g, 11 h). VΠ Nilus seated to left on rocks, holding cornucopia; before Nilus, Euthenia (?), standing to right, holding wreath, crowning Nilus. Rev. Nike standing left, holding wreath, crowning male figure standing left. Roma E-Sale 115 (2023), 652. Cf. Geissen 3498 (same obverse scene) and Geissen 3572 (similar reverse scene, but figures are confronted). An extremely rare and intriguing Egyptian tessera. Flan irregularity, otherwise, fine.
